Yet again my pc has another issue :D. So before I got to where I am now I was just updating some drivers and listening to music then out of no where my pc freezes and repeats the last sound that was going through my headset forcing me to do a hard shut down but then after to my surprise when I tried to turn it back on I have no display and after trying a few things such as: moving ram to different slots, removing the gpu and putting it back in or trying a different HDMI cord nothing has worked if anyone can help please assist me.
CPU: intel 4690k(I'm pretty sure)
GPU:Msi geforce 970
MOBO: Msi Z97S SLI Krait edition
PSU:Evga B2 850W
RAM: Patriot Viper 8gb(4x2)

@Lan2u I have tried what you said and it did not have any affect, my pc booted up and after about 30 seconds it restarted and turned itself on again but did not restart and of course both times had no display

Is the display itself working and plugged in (check with another pc)

@Lan2u at the moment I do not have another pc to test it in, but I tried one thing and this may help others, I removed the lithium battery on the MOBO for about 5 mins and put it back on and that fixed the restarting issue

Try performing a cmos reset

Just use anything metallic (flat head screw driver works) making sure it is the cmos pins you are touching

Should do just confirming it has reset the bios. When the display is plugged in is there a status (red led) light?

@Lan2u if by status light i think you mean the one on the monitor and if that's the case then yes and it's yellow is it possible the port on my gpu chapped out? Because the fans on it and lights are still running also no red lights anywhere

Try removing the GPU again and plugging the monitor into the motherboard

So your computer starts, all the lights and fans come on but the monitor stays black even when the GPU is removed and the monitor is plugged directly into the motherboard?

Sounds like something is either wrong with the cable or the display but as you say you have tried a different cable so I guess it must be a problem with the display. Do you have a different type of cable you can try (like vga or display port)

I think it's your monitor then. Make sure you have selected the right input and see if you can plug it into something else (like a tv box) and test it

Hm.... do you have any other displays around the house or apartment etc. even a TV could work, as all you really need is a way narrow down what the problem is. I suggest you try that and come back to us.

Is that connected to the integrated graphics or the dedicated GPU?
