Hello !
Right now I have:
Vengeance® — 16GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ16GX3M2A1866C10)
And it would be very great if I could keep it but my classmate told me that if I want to edit then I rally should go for DDR4.
So, my question would be like this: Should I really go for DDR4 and spend ~60€ for:
BLS2C8G4D240FSB
Or I can keep my RAM cause it still is good ?

Solution
If what you have works, keep it. Most of the advantages of DDR4 are still only theoretical.
If you do want to upgrade to DDR4, you will need an entire new system with a new motherboard and CPU.

Don't you think that it's bit too low to think that someone may not know that DDR3 motherboard ain't compatible with DDR4 ram ? I was fully aware of that that they ain't compatible when I looked up new system. Technically this thread is answer by Calculagator, thanks.

The thing that I wanted to know was if it was worth buying new DDR4 ram or I could keep my DDR3 ram (anyway I'm about to buy new system but I wasn't sure what RAM to buy).

But that's not what you said. How are we supposed to know what you know of or what you dont. We only know what you ask. You asked was it worth changing to DDR4. You didnt say you knew you would have to change platforms. Also the person you gave the best answer ALSO informed you of needing to change platforms. That says your question was poorly worded. Don't get pissy with us because you didn't communicate properly.

I don't think it's low at all, I have no idea of your tech level so I try to assume little and go by what information is provided. In this case what I saw was I have this ram can should I use this other ram and no mention was made of using the old ram in a new build. Something else you may want to think about, currently only Skylake supports both DDR3 and DDR4, and technically it only supports DDR3l(low voltage DDR3). Its not recommended to run DDR3(1.5v and higher) with Skylake as Intel has stated that using this higher voltage ram can reduce the life of the cpus memory controller.
