This is my current firestrike score: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/7910803. I know I can probably squeeze another 1,000 points out of my system. I saw one exactly like mine, except he had 1k more points and his cpu max turbo was 4.0. My motherboard supports overclocking and also has a thing called "OC genie" which I'm kinda skeptical about but willing to use it. Should I overclock my cpu with a hyper 212 evo, and should I overclock my 970 windforce 3x?

If you are only overclocking for those scores, I don't think its worth it, its just the show off. I don't know much about overclocking but just keep it that way so you keep your PSU happy, and I have also heard you'll need to add more cooling to your system. As long as its doing your job like playing games or whatever you do, just keep it the way it is, overclock only when you /NEED/ it.

Its all your decision anyway.

well do the benchmark scores mean anything? Because if I get a 10% increase in performance for just a little overclock that's worth it to me.

Yeah, I said that up there ^^ if you do something that requires more CPU speeds then its to-ta-l-eh worth it :) After all, that's why you got yourself a CPU that can be overclocked ;]
