I have a ASRock C70M1 motherboard with 4 GB ram, an SSD for the OS and a 500GB HD for data. I installed Debian Jessie and it works wonderfully. I am very happy with the build and install except... Debian sees no audio cards. I go into the UEFI Setup -> System Browser -> Rear IO; all of the audio ports there show as "Disconnected." Even when I plug in something, nothing registers here.

I have no front panel audio connected to the motherboard.

Is there anyway to use the rear panel audio connectors? I can't find a jumper that obviously "connects" these jacks, but I may be missing something.

BINGO - Honest mistake on my part. This is my first build in about 10 years. Navigating ASRock's UEFI/BIOS setup was a completely new experience to me and I missed where, for some reason, the integrated audio was disabled. I enabled it and it works fine now.

Thanks popatim and skittle!
