I have ran multiple cmd test with ping google.com -t and my ping has shot up to around 220ms, while I play csgo, randomly I shoot up to around 120ms every once in a while and I stay there for a couple of seconds, I have tried restarting router multiple times. I have charter as my isp and my router is netgear R6300v2. I have also done ping router adress -t and it has been <1 ms the whole 5 minutes I have watched. I have even tried switching ethernet cords, to see if one of the prongs went wrong or something, I have tried testing on other computer but I didnt see any spikes, and I only get around 4 spikes a day, even though more random than that. It just happens randomly and annoying

I feel your pain. I have 6 family members in the house on the internet, watching streams and Netflix and that was my problem. When I asked someone of them to turn there things off my lag went away. It shot up to over 2000 sometimes and usally stayed around 1200. If you live with anyone who is always using the internet tell them to turn off the things they arnt using. Make sure your not downloading anything or anyone else is downloading anything. If none of that works try a new Ethernet cable, or give wireless a try
