I want to completely wipe my old HDD and do a fresh install of windows in my new SSD.
What's the best way to do that?

Solution
Plug in only the SSD and do a fresh install. (So that you won't accidentally install any OS related files on the HDD). Once everything's fine (Activating Windows Installing drivers), you can plug your HDD and manually wipe what you don't want.
