Hello, I am building a mid-high range computer that will be used mostly for programming and some gaming. However, It will be some big games like GTA 5, Dying Light and fallout 4. Preferably at high-ultra.

My budget is around $450 without the peripherals and shipping. Soo, Here is what I have now:

And just wanted opinions about that.. And also, Should I get that R9 380 or a GTX 960 ?

Thanks in advanced for any help.

Also you didn't list a case... So make sure to consider that. In the scenario though i would also suggest an i3 but i wouldn't expect a great experience with this. You won't be getting high or ultra with this build maybe medium at 1080p.

This looks good, man. Don't forget to choose a chassis for your computer!

I would say GTX 960, but only because I'm biased and I favor Nvidia. Maybe the AMD card will be better, not sure.

I am going to buy the case and the other stuff from a local store cause the shipping prices are a bit expensive for large items such as the case.

And about the processor, I am not really experienced much about it but GTA requires 4-processors minimum so I thought the FX6300 will do better with its 6 cores..??
I think I will just go for the i3, it does have a better upgrade capability.

Also btw.. My CPU has a top mounted fan according to the picture on amazon.. How will that be placed in a case with a top mounted PSU ?!.. Will I like flip it upside down ?.. Wouldn't that suck hot air from the components which will most likely heat the PSU ??

The pentium if you get an aftermarket cooler and overclock it, making it cost the same as the fx 6300. Also the pentium can be upgraded to an i3, i5, or i7 down the road

but id still highly recommend an i3
If you have a micro center near you it's only $100

I don't even live in the US; I will buy from amazon.
I will go for the i3, Its just almost $20 more and ddr4.. Thanks :)

I am still confused about the GPU though.. I got A LOT of opposite opinions about the R9 380 and the GTX 960.. So I guess both are good so I will just go with the cheapest when buying.

No mate , only bottom mounts vent out the case & dome of the matx cube type cases.

Its a non issue though IMO really.a top mount PSU acts as an extra exhaust & will actually lower CPU temps if anything - the PSU if anything will be the only component running slightly hotter.
