I am having a weird problem that I would only call Software for the time being...
One or two weeks now my PC would freeze unexpectedly and I would have to do a restart using the button and I was ok with it like once or twice a month is ok but today it got a lot worse.
Every 10-15 min of use my PC will literally freeze except I can move my mouse around.
I can use my Keyboard aswell (Except the Home button which doesn't work either way).
I can tell because videos will stop buffering and until I press that Home button or do any action my PC is perfectly fine. The recent Nvidia Graphics Drivers are said to be buggy.Would that be the cause? Does it have to do anything with my SSD? On a previous post I explained my problem with my SSD http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2999655/unexpected-problem-ssd.html
Any help appreciated

Update: Ok so apparently it's gone for now,all I did was open my PC case and took the cable out and put it back in,didn't change anything just took it out and reinserted it.If it works whatever. Thanks for taking time to write your advice

Update2: I downloaded HDTune and ran tests on my SSD and everything is perfect. Not a single error about it.Since I ruled that out I am gonna defragment it and report back

Question: Could my HDD be causing all this lag ? I have it to store files but it doesn't have anything besides some videos on it.

Solution
Try running SFC to check for and attempt to fix corrupt system files. Open an administrator command prompt and issue this command: sfc /scannow .

Good luck.

Hi,

As I believe you know yourself, this could be quite a few things. First things I would look into is. CPU temp at the time the pc freezes (possibility its overheating or something along the lines) 2nd thing would be the ssd itself. There are lots of free monitoring softwares you can you.

Hope that helps a little,
good luck,
Matt.

The temps are just fine cause I at one point I was checking them before the PC actually froze. Now it happened again but got even weirded. When I force closed it even the booting screen froze at the Motherboard screen.By the way when the PC freezes I can't open any programs so I don't know real time temps cause the Screen freezes aswell at one point

Funny part is my Computer did it on its own one day so I just waited the whole way through it! I never did it manually just one day I opened it up and it said to check my disk so yea rule that out aswell

Oh my bad I thought I read chkdsk which it did on it's own and it started doing it yesterday again! I will try that even though I think my SSD is about to die.The CHKDSK was running abnormally slow like 1 file per 2 seconds or something like that.I am 90% it's the SSD's problem and not Windows.I will check it with some programs and I will report back
