This will be the first pc i build and want to use it for gaming. I was wondering if all these parts are both good to play games with and compatible with each other.

SSD: SanDisk X400 512GB 2.5" SATA Business Class Performance SSD/Solid State Drive

I will probably buy another 8GB ram when i have more money.

So is this a good build/compatible?

Any help is welcomed:)

Can you get a r9-380x 4g for the same price? it out performs it the 960. Also as others have said , get a h170 board, or grab the unlocked one with your z170.

The i5-6500 seems to be on sale if you choose a h170 board. Otherwise if you want the z170 grab the 6600k
