Title pretty much says it all.

Im pretty sure i've never installed win 7 in UEFI before, and doing a new build the question popped up.

Should i install Windows 7 in UEFI mode?

Googling it im not really finding any pros/cons, just guides and such

And im wondering, is there any benefit at all that makes it worth it to install Win7 in UEFI when just using a regular "small" sized drive to boot from. (250gb ssd)

Boot time is supposed to be faster, yet some says its negligible?
Some seem to have trouble installing win7 in UEFI, some doesnt seem so, but nor do they say why to do it, i.e. the benefits, which makes it seem sorta redundant, if it provides no upsides but only the possibility of added installation hassle

I dont mean installing win 7 on a UEFI compliant motherboard/BIOS

i mean specifically installing Win7 in UEFI mode, with the therein GPT partitioning(mandatory if boot drive is larger than 2tb), vs norm BIOS/Legacy mode and MBR partitioning

UEFI mode on win8/win10 is a no brainer, but looking around regarding win7 it doesnt seem as clear.
Some seem to have trouble/hassle getting win7 to install and/or boot in true UEFI mode installation.(boot loops, unrecognizable drives, or even bsod)
some that did install it said boot time decreased, some said noticed no difference i.e no benefit?

just wonder if its worth it if those are possible risks, any benefits at all?

The simple fact that you feel the need to ask should tell you that you should be installing 10. But, yes, no problems with 7 in uefi.
