High End PC - Memory warnings and frequent FPS drops. Reward for help

Hello, i have came here for a last resort because i normally like to solve problems myself but this is a problem which i cannot solve. In games such as GTA V i get fps drops when/in the city and pretty anywhere but less frequent than the cities. I have used virtual memory to stop the memory warnings but in windows 10 its says in task manager i have used 80-90% of my memory when i have 8gbs? I swear 8gb is a decent amount of ram so why is it running out quickly? Can someone please give some advice to help me with this issue because i play games all the time and it becomes frustrating. Thank you

Amd fx 8320
GTX 970
8gb ram
2tb storage
Ultrawide monitor
Windows 10

I've tried with drivers, chrome takes up 250mb? that's awfully high isn't it? Maybe its my hardware relying on the memory. GTA V takes up over 2gb of my ram which seems way too high too. Over 1.4gb of standby memory? cant i change this
