Hello.
I have a problem with my laptop. I have a Toshiba Satellite L675 for 6 years and few weeks ago i tried to move it and i dropped it by mistake on the table from about 8-9 centimeters and it got instant freeze.
I tried to restart it, but the screen doesn't turn on, i can't use any command and after ~30 seconds it turns off.
I guess that the motherboard is damaged because of the impact but i'm not sure.
Any idea what is the problem and how can i fix it, if it's possible anymore?
Thanks in advance.

I was given a laptop that had a similar issue and the culprit was a faulty HDD, I replaced it and the issue was gone though in hindsight my client brought it over to me to diagnose what the issue was and I had a spare 2.5" HDD around to test and see if the system booted to Windows(due to a copy of Windows 7 being on the 2.5" HDD to begin with) desktop. So my suggestion, if you can get display, would need to take the mobile computing device to a certified technician and ask him to see if the HDD is the culprit.

Often times a drop from a small height while the system is active can cause the HDD's head to fall of it's axis, given enough of a force.

It's imperative you take it to a technician since he'll have the necessary tools to diagnose the issue and source the culprit/parts.
