my CPU is AMD Phenom II x6 1055t, I ordered some G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 and when I put it in today, my computer wouldn't boot up so I came here to try and figure it out.
What 1600? If a newer line (since about 2011) like RJ X, RJ Z, Sniper they probably are made with high density memory chips and you need low density, like in the NT series of value DRAM
