my cpu wont start up it just shows a black screen and a dash on the top left corner when i switch it on it show the light onthe cpu that its on but from there the screen just stays blank please help

by CPU, you mean computer?

you are getting a blank screen with a flashing cursor at start up?

What version of windows did you have on pc?
