External Hard Drive won't mount. It won't show up in finder, but it will show up in disk utility. It when i click repair it re...ith the EFI system partitions file system. This is a WD Passport for Mac, on a Macbook air running OS X Yosemite

When it did show up in the finder the other day it wouldn't let me save the files to my desktop. I was able to drag a folder to a safari page and download videos from there. Please help I do not want to lose these files.

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the WD My Passport for Mac. :( I'd strongly recommend you to check how the external drive will appear on another Mac OS X computer and try running the Repair options from Disk Utility again.
If your data is that important to you, I'd advise you to take a look at the Data Recovery Partners on our website. In case you are unable to access and copy them, you should definitely consider the professional assistance. I'd also suggest you check the warranty on the external HDD.

In the future, I'd suggest you always keep at least two copies of your files stored in different locations/devices. This is the surest way to avoid any potential data...
