GPU Temps Increases watching utube live streams

Thanks for the reply, the live stream is from a ps4 which my friend was hosting. I never really looked at the clock speed, i can check that for you if that means you can provide a more conclusive answer. Based on what i saw my idle temps are what I have stated, 36c to 37, they never budge when browsering or watchinh youtube. But soon as I watch this stream on utube which is live it cause my gpu's temps to increase hitting 58c to 60c I dont understand that at all. Because the platform is youtube so a normal youtube has no issues with my gpu why would a live stream? its the same isnt it? I am using firefox, does using a different browser cause different results?

I have been watching a 1 hour youtube video the stats according to MSI Afterburner shows:

Core Clock: 135
Mem Clock: 324
Temp: 35c to 36c

When watching a Youtube live stream the stats in afterburner are as follows:
Core Clock: 1189
Mem Clock: 3506
Temp: 59c to 60c

So yes the core clock and mem clock increase on a live stream, why is this? how come this is happening? How do i stop this why is this effecting only live streams i am kinda confused if you can solve this I would be ever greatful

Right guys a quick update, upon trying another browser, (Google Chrome) while watching the same live stream from firefox on google chrome the temps drop back to what i stated were idle temps which are: 35c to 36c, the temps do not budge from this. MSI afterburner shows the following while playing the same live stream on google chrome:

Core Clock: 135
Mem Clock: 324
Temp: 35c to 36c

So my question now is guys why does firefox do this? why is firefox increasing the core clock and the mem clock and the temp on my gpu while using the firefox browser? Is there anyway to configure firefox to stop doing this, clearly this isnt normal as google chrome is displaying idle temps while watching live streams on utube. So how is firefox using more of my gpu? then google chrome, this is getting more and more confusing.

Edit: when running a stress test on my gpu max temp at 100% usage, the temp does not budge from 69c to 70c. So my gpu is fine, clearly there is a issue somewhere. I have no addons on firefox and when i disabled hardware acceleration on firefox the temps on gpu drop to idle while watching live streams. But my cpu usage and temps increase, on google chrome hardware acceleration is enabled and when I did the test above both cpu and gpu temps are running at idle temps while watching live streams. So firefox is causing this and if anyone of you know why, I would love to fix this issue.

Another Edit: It seems like its only firefox causing the issue and no other browser is doing this, I have tried internet expolrer, Microsoft edge, google chrome, opera and the temps are all consistant to what google chrome produced when viewing youtube live streams. So its seems its a issue with firefox, I went on a live streaming website called twitch and viewed the streams on firefox and the temps were fine, It seems direct youtube live streams are causing this issue only on firefox. Can anyone here please help and do me a favour, if you have a simlar high end gpu like mine, can you please use youtube on firefox and watch a youtube live stream for a few minutes and post ur results here. That way i can see if it is a issue with firefox or just my firefox.

Edit: I cant locate the power options is there somthing I am missing as i have the following shown in nvidia control panel:

3D Settings and its sub options
Display and its sub options
Stereoscopic 3D and its sub settings
Video and its sub settings

I cant see anything regarding power

Edit 2: Never mind I found it and will apply the settings you told me and i will inform you what happens. I looked at the power settings and by default its on Adaptive, any other setting you recommend?

It seems this is issue is common amoung firefox browsers on other pc's, as i just tried it on two other pc's and the issue is the same on firefox but other browsers they are fine. I would love to know ur results when u changed ur power settings to normal.
