So I keep getting the blue screen error 0x0000001A and the solution seems to be to update the bios. I've never updated my BIOS before and I need help. I went to Gigabyte's website and it told me to flash the BIOS but AT MY OWN RISK. So, because of that I've been holding off on it, but every couple weeks or so I get a blue screen and its getting annoying. SO if someone could help me update my BIOS for my Gigabyte Z97X-SLI motherboard CORRECTLY that would be great. Should I get the beta BIOS becuase it says it solves issues with the memory. Also should I use this:

Updating BIOS using the EFI Flash Tool through DOS

You need to know your current BIOS and motherboard revision number. If you read the Description of each update, you will see what the update is for. For example,

1.Supports Intel® 5th Generation Core™ Processor
2.This BIOS prohibits updating to earlier version BIOS

I would not recommend flashing an unstable system or without knowing what the update is for. Gigabyte's website - it told you to flash the BIOS. That sounds fishy to me.
