Hi guys i have some problem when using the headset in my new motherboard. I can hear the sound but when it speak or when people talking to me they can hear me but i can't hear them clearly...like they talk in some bathroom or something like that heheheh...
is it my headset problem or the board setting

Hello... 1) Go to Control panel-Sound and check for proper speaker/Mic settings... use the test button feature (recording-playback) for your Microphone and speakers.
2) go to the MB/sound card app and check that the MIC input connector is set for the input your are using... and the APP see's it plugged in.

1) What headset?
2) Does it have its own software?
3) Did you install the audio software for your onboard audio? (i.e. motherboard site, or navigate through Realtek site)

Issues with OTHER people speaking to you is NOT due to a defective headset otherwise ALL sounds would be screwed up. It could be:
a) Their software or game is overcompressing audio, or
b) Your software is set to a game mode that is processing the audio to enhance for certain features like FOOTSTEPS. This can make some audio worse.
