Hello everybody. I am looking to upgrade my pc and start on watercooling.. I currently have a Lepa N500w psu and it does it's job but I really don't trust it. Plus it lacks the necessary connectors to use a pump. I have seen Jayztwocent's video about how his old pc used a 750w but buying another psu in the future may be a pain. I'll include my specs below. I'm looking at the EVGA 500 W1 80+ and a few others. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance! :D:D

Specs:
Motherboard: msi 760gma-p34(fx)
Graphics Card: Sapphire R9 280x
Cpu: Fx-8320
Drives: 1 1Tb wd blue and 1 toshiba 500gb
Fans:3 nzxt fans
Watercooling: XSPC Raystorm 420 EX360
Ram: 16gb hyper x ram

That about sums it up. I will be getting the watercooling kit along with the NZXT phantom 530 once I know what psu to get. Thank you everybody!

Lepa power supplies are very poor quality and non reliable . Quality over wattage
--------EVGA G2/B2/P2 Recommended------------
Why do you want to water cool ? There are many more disadvantages than advantages .
--------Cryorig--------------
They make the best quality cooling units. However I would recommend getting a air cooler as its cheaper and has more advantages

I just realized that the psu i picked wasn't 80+ certified. Thank you for reminding me to look.

I wanted to pick up a water cooler because of the temperatures and the looks. I really have no specific need for it because I don't overclock but I wanted to get it now since it's been put on a price drop. I can hold off on the watercooling for 6-8 months since at this point in time it really isn't necessary but I would want to get it eventually, Thank you for your recommendations and have a nice day :D

EVGA G2 650W PSU should be great for your needs.

Btw, water cooling with a pre built water cooler (H80, H90, NZXT Kraken, H100, H100i, the list goes on...) isn't the greatest idea. They're loud, and can be unreliable (in leaking terms, though uncommon). If I were you, I'd make a custom loop. If that's too advanced, stick to a high quality air cooler (Noctua D15 for example). Just my opinion, Corsair, NZXT, and those companies still make good coolers, if they were bad they wouldn't be on the market. Just like I said, with pre builts, beware of noise, and leakage possibility
