So, i have 3 computers i'm trying to connect over lan.
Desktop can only get network access through ethernet cable, which is connect to Laptop 1 which in turn is wirelessly connected to the router.
The desktop is hosting a server Laptop 1 is able to connect to. Laptop 2 is also wireless, and is unable to connect to desktop's server.
How do I allow Laptop 2 to connect to PC's server? Is it possible to do this?
Hope I was clear in trying to describe this :S

Solution
So you have to do is to disconnect the laptop over ethernet with server and connect the server to router through ethernet. Connect both laptops over wifi to router. I think this should solve the problem.

Im trying to get the laptop that's not directly connected to the desktop to be able to join the server. It's a LAN server for Minecraft, btw

You situation is sort of confusing. What is what connected to and by whom. Can you simply draw a diagram of the connections and upload the image. Just on paper.

For this situation I think you should use star topology. The following image will explain:

Just bring the router in middle and connect all the devices through it.
