So, i had a ps3 laying around with and I have a partly * computer.. its an i7 2600k but has the * gpu.. a gt 610, i was wondering if there was anyway to use it as a booster for my pc. I know you can format it to run Linux and stuff but still not sure how I can connect it to my pc.
Any help will be appreciated

Solution
No, you cant use the PS3 to supplement your computer.
You can, however, buy a decent graphics card and have a relatively solid PC (The 2600k may be old, but it still performs)

OP here, im running super low on budget and ive already upgraded to W10. the 2600k is overclocked and performs amazingly, i have 2 tb ssds and 16 gb ddr3s so i have no problem there either. I did have a titan x but it got scammed off, (Ill tell the story too if you guys want it ;D) (sorry for the typo, ddr3s not ddr4s)

Samsung EVO 1 tb (2 of them) and its a ddr3 (typo) 16 gigs, the only * thing is the damn 610, as I said when I built it, it had a titan x (even though I had to cut off the lock since it wouldnt fit otherwise)
