I have tried everything but the option won't unlock and it remains on auto and I need to increase the voltage

Solution
What happens when you click on the "CPU Voltage" option? Do you get a list of voltages to choose from? If not, some BIOSs require you to type in the value from the keyboard.

Most options like other voltages I can change with a drop down. The cpu voltage and value is greyed out and I am unable to change it

Yeah I can change most options like that. Just that option is greyed out and it won't let me change at all. As if I need to do something else to unlock it

What processor are you using? New? Used?

Not sure, I never checked as it defaulted and worked fine. So there was no need to check anything

No and when it is clicked it says the OC genie function is not supported by processors over 200 or something or another.
The board manual says the processor is compatible overall.

OhHo! If it isn't allowing you to use the OC Genie with the 220W FX-9590, I am suspecting that other options like vcore increasing might be also disabled. That could be the reason it is greyed out. You may want to contact MSI and ask to verify.

Hi, sorry for hijacking this thread. I have the same mobo and cpu as you and have come across the same problem, I was wondering if you managed to fix it and if so, would you mind sharing?

Thanks

Solution: Nope
After talks with MSI support team. They say you cannot change the voltages in the bios and there is no other way to do so. They said in there tests there default is fine but that all circumstances and builds are different. Despite at there default I can get a bluescreen. I have to change the voltages via msi command centre everytime i boot up. I will be buying a better mobo this year.
