I just got a new PC and I'm wondering if I can play Arma 2 or 3 multiplayer. For those who play Arma 2 and 3 you know that, it runs like a handicapped fish. My PC specs are as shown,
GTX 960 2GB
i3 4170 3.7 GHZ
8 GBS 1600 mz RAM
Btw I'm not looking to overclock

Solution
Sure. Arma only uses one core heavily, so the i3 would be pretty decent at it.

You'll have to play with settings to get it running at a frame rate you like though. ARMA, in default settings, looks great, and runs like poop due to huge draw distances.
