Would an R9 380 run Dark souls 3 maxed out?

Asking because I need a new GPU for my brothers rig, and usually I'd choose the 960 but it's much more expensive for minimal performance gains.

Dark Souls has never been that heavy graphically intensive and I believe an R9 380 could well run it maxed out. A GTX 960 2GB easily maxed Dark Souls 2, I wouldn't be suprised if it could max again with a GTX 960/R9 380 in Dark Souls 3.

And OP, the R9 380 is faster than a GTX 960 out of the box.

I doubt it. You would probably need something along the lines of a 970 or 390x but i haven't seen benchmarks and it has not been released in the americas so this is all speculation. i have refrained from watching anything related to it so i can have everything be a suprise.
