ASUS Z87 Motherboard Codes

When I try to start up my PC, my motherboard will either flash debug code 55, for memory not detected, and shut down, or (after removing one stick of RAM and my video card) it will flash a few other codes before stopping on 78, chipset initialization error, or b2. With said cards removed, it randomly switches between those 2 codes before restarting. Anyone have a solid idea what the problem could be?

Solution
Try testing different kit, if possible, or RMA yours, if under warranty. If still same issue with different kit, it might be a CPU issue.

CPU is Intel i5-4570. Old setup. I went to boot it up this morning and it never stayed on longer than about a minute before shutting down and trying again.

Just tried that out, and this time it held code 53 for 55-60 seconds before restarting. I let it go twice just to verify.

I just tried each stick individually. By the time the codes stopped flashing by, each stick was left with what looked like code Ab.

I've only tested my 2nd stick of RAM and the HDD so far, but its looking like my 2nd stick of RAM went bad, or maybe my motherboard has pooped itself and now wont accept multiple sticks of RAM? I'm testing a few more methods, but thats the most likely culprit.

Right now, i have a stick installed in slot B1. And it get to the BIOS screen just fine. Same if its in A1. Any combination of 2 sticks seems to make it poop itself and get stuck on code 55

it seems that after changing my pants and retrying the B1-B2 ram combination, the startup issue is solved on that part. im going to try hooking things up one by one and try to get everything back up and running
