Hi guys!

I would like to have your advice.

I going to update my pc for gaming but I'm not sure which processor I should to get.

Option one:
MOTHERBOARD ASUS Z170-A 1151
KINGSTON HYPERX SAVAGE DDR4 8GB 2400MHZ
INTEL CORE I5 6600K 1151

For 532 USD (I am from Mexico)

Option two:
Asus ATX Z97-A/USB 3.1, S-1150
Intel Core i7-4790K, S-1150, 4.00GHz, Quad-Core, 8MB L3 Cache

For 553 USD

I have a Strix GTX970 and PSU Corsair CX600w and for i7 I have 16 GB of RAM at 1600 MHz and a FX 8320 which is that I want to update.

What do you think? My plan is keep the best build for maybe 5 years and play without problems. I understand FX has old technology

Solution
Your motherboard and cooler leave little to be desired.
You are probably doing as good as is possible.
The FX-9590 is essentially a well binned FX-8350 that has a factory overclock to 4.7.
It is unlikely you can do as well unless you have a golden chip.

sims, mmo and strategy games depend on a fast master core for performance. I expect Attila to be in that category.

Fast action shooters will usually need fast graphics more.
Option one is newer gen and will have upgrade options.
Moreover, the 6600K is likely to be able to get a higher overclock.
As of 2/16/16
What percent can get an overclock at a somewhat sane 1.40v Vcore.
I5-6600K
4.9 11%
4.8 38%
4.7 70%
4.6 83%

Would be good for gaming next years?

If this is just for games you wont notice a large difference. Going from your AMD FX 8320 to an Intel Core i7-4790K will give you about 3 extra FPS in BF4 and that is with no overclocking of either CPU. Honestly If I were in your shoes I wouldn't upgrade anything now especially if your monitor resolution is 1080P or lower(not 2K or 4K). You are going to see Nvidia Pascal and AMD Polaris hit the shelves later this year. Also on the CPU front AMD will have its new ZEN CPU land late in 2016. The ZEN CPU should be competitive with Intel so we should see some pricing battles(hopefully) should help you get something better for your budget. This is the first year in about 10 years it is very smart to wait a bit as the jumps in performance on the graphics cards is going to be much larger than normal since the process node is improving by 40% or so. Also waiting for ZEN since you have a limited budged should let you get more for your money since AMD and Intel should be competing again.

Thank you very much for your comments, if this change would not be significant compared with my FX I totally agree that this update not worth it.

Thank you for your assistance :D and I will wait to Zen

You need to get some science into your evaluation, not opinions.
Many games will suffer from the slow FX cores.
Here is my stock approach to clarifying your issue.
------------------------------------------------------------
To help clarify your CPU/GPU options, run these two tests:

a) Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

b) Limit your cpu, either by reducing the OC, or, in windows power management, limit the maximum cpu% to something like 70%.
Go to control panel/power options/change plan settings/change advanced power settings/processor power management/maximum processor state/
This will simulate what a lack of cpu power will do.
Conversely what a 30% improvement in core speed might do.

You should also experiment with removing one core. You can do this in the windows msconfig boot advanced options option. You will need to reboot for the change to take effect. Set the number of processors to less than you have.
This will tell you how sensitive your games are to the benefits of many cores.

If your FPS drops significantly, it is an indicator that your cpu is the limiting factor, and a cpu upgrade is in order.

It is possible that both tests are positive, indicating that you have a well balanced system, and both cpu and gpu need to be upgraded to get better gaming FPS.
-------------------------------------------------------------

If you come out knowing that your cpu is the limiting factor, yes, you can oc a FX-8350 if you have a good FX990 motherboard and a good cooler.
Perhaps with a golden chip, you can get near 4.9.
That is not quite the capability of a i5-6600K running at stock
With an overclock, you are looking at 30% or better over that.

Thank you very much for this analysis

I am pretty sure that most of my current games will get more FPS if I lower the resolution (The Division, Witcher 3, FarCry Primal) but I am not sure if ATTILA Total War will run better.

At this point I do my best with overclocking but I think my CPU or Mobo has something wrong because I need to much vcore to get stability and then I get more temps and I think my H60 can handle it. I am working with 4.5 GHz at 1.43 of Vcore and I think is too much and when do the stress test my CPU reach 65°C or 68°C. In gaming its works at 50~51°C and idle 35°C.

My motherboard is a Sabertooth 990fx R2.0

I really appreciate your support and help. I going to wait for Zen cpu's to decie which path I should take

Thanks
