As the title says:

Can i connect 2 fans in one fan header using a splitter in a Ga-970A-DS3P Motherboard?? I want to add a couple fans to my case (for a total of 5 120mm fans), and i was thinking in buying a splitter cable so i can connect them to the motherboard inestead of the PSU so i can control the fan speed and have less fan noise... I would be using two splitters so i can connect two fans per fan header on my motherboard. So, can my Motherboard handle it??

The fans i want to add are Corsair AF 120mm led fans.

Thank you guys!

Solution
Yes you can use them. I have used them in many builds. I would only use 1 splitter per header, but this will work fine. Keep in mind if you do decide to control fan speeds, 2 fans will be affected when controlling.
