hi everyone,

My Medion laptop keeps restarting after I increased the core voltage.

I didnt use anything crazy to overclock except Intel Extreme Tuning.

there you have a option to increase core voltage. I did that, hit apply, it asked to restart, I accepted and it restarted.

The problem is that it keeps restarting. it starts up like 5 sec, and restarts again. I cant even manage to go to bios to reset or anything because the screen doesnt even light up.

How can I reset the voltage??

Im almost certain there is no hardware damage as I only increased it by 0.05v. I think its some safety mechanic that stops it from fully starting the system.

ive tried plugging it out, taking battery out, and I hold power button for 20sec to drain so it will reset, but that doesnt help either...

Please, does anybody know what my options are now?

I've found it but its hard to reach without breaking some kind of seal holding the back side together. I see its covered with some kind of plastic cover thats colored. it has 2 wires attached to it. im not sure how its attached, should I pull out the wires by force? and how to attach it back to the battery? Is it safe to do it with my hands or a screwdriver? so many questions as I have very little experience with hardware. Will the manufacturer see that I increased the voltage if I send it back with my warranty?
