AT&T or Comcast?

Alright so I'm asking this question due to really annoying issues with AT&T and their shitty upload speed so tell me this: Currently we're paying $62 a month for 18mbps down and, according to their website, anywhere from 765kbps to 3mbps Upload.

Now if we switch to Comcasts 25mbps plan, would that be better? I heard they have 5mbps upload speed and if anyone has this plan could they possibly tell me how much they charge you a month? How much are the installation fees? Is it worth it? Thanks!

P.S: I mainly need better upload speeds and AT&T and Comcast are the ONLY 2 in my area.

I have comcast. Now i dont have that plan, I have there 105 plan. That has 105 down and 20 up. And before that I have the plan that gave you 50 down and 10 up. In both cases I always got more down than they advertised and more up than advertised. Comcast has some shady practices, but they do deliver what they sell you.

25mbps will give you ~3.1 MBps down
18mbps is ~2.25 MBps down

I suggest you either get 50 or 75 mbps deal, should be around 59 dollars + modem 10 for the 75mbps + taxes

There was no installation fee. They have this thing called self install. Where they mail you a modem if you chose to rent one from them (DON'T) or you buy you own modem and call them to turn it on. I pay $89 for the 105 plan, but thats cause i'm on one of their intro specials. It goes to $114 after that.

Get this modem. It works with their fastest non fiber plan which is 105mbps
