Hey guys, My 7 year old PC just died and I was originally buying replacement parts at about the same spec since I wasnt financially prepared to buy a new rig. I really want to play a new game so I want to get the best PC I can at the best price possible and havent been paying attention to PC parts in years so I am reaching out to the experts here. This is what I have that I may be able to reuse

Mobo - Shot(Old but was a LGA 775 socket)
Ram - Shot(Old anyway DDR2)
Cpu - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550( Not sure if its worth keeping since I need new Ram/Mobo)
PSU - Corsair 750w (Over 7 years Old, May be time for a new one or just ride this one out)
GPU - GTX 750 Ti
Case - Brand New
HDD - Brand New SSD
Heat Sink - XIGMATEK HDT-S1283

So Im guessing I need a new CPU, Motherboard, Ram and Heatsink.
I doubt its possible but if I had a budget of around $500 What are my best options?

Or am I better off replacing my old Motherboard and Ram while keeping the old cpu and heatsink?

Thanks in advance!

I plan on building a new rig an maybe a year or 2 but I just moved to another state so I am unemployed while Im looking for a new job and recently bought all of my major applicances like a Refrigerator, Dishwasher and Stove so I have to recover while still not killing my savings for emergencies.

I appreciate the help guys!

P.S. Just realized Id have to have a water cooler so Maybe this would be a better option for cpu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113346&cm_re=AMD_FX-9370-_-19-113-346-_-Product

Ive never build an AMD system so hopefully it isnt too different from Intel
