Hey, Just ordered a Gigabyte Gaming 7 Mobo partially because of the audio capabilities. Only thing is, theres so much to it that Im now confused. I can change the "Op-amp"? I have figured that that means the bit you change alters the levels of your audio to your preferred taste. But theres also a switch to change from 2.5 to 6x "Gain boost" for high impedance headphones and speakers. Wanting the best quality sound, what would I use with Sennheiser HD518's and Logitech Z200's? Thanks

The marketing material says "6x mode is ideal for high impedance speakers and headphones", but that's about the extent of the detail.

The Sennheisers are 50-ohm, so I would think that they would use the 2.5x setting and the Logitechs are 10000-ohm, so i would think that they would use the 6x setting, but i expect that you will have to play with it and see what sounds better.
