i3-6300 RAM Question

Does anyone know if it would support DDR3, or does it have to be DDR4? It would seem the DDR are relatively the same as for performance but I'm pretty ignorant :/

Skylake is made to use DDR4. There's a few motherboards that support low voltage DDR3L, but the majority use DDR4.

These boards reportedly take DDR3 memory, but you would need to double check the specifications. Though with DDR4 prices down, it's worthwhile to pay a little extra and move into the DDR4 camp IMO.
