Hello, so I recently put my gaming computer to the side for a couple of weeks because I had really bad internet and couldn't really play then today when I set it up with an ethernet cable on my new network (BT broadband) I updated all my games and my Geforce driver.. Then when it came to running the game (Arma III, DayZ Standalone) The fps was really bad even on Arma II which has potato graphics and Before I put my computer to the side I was running these games easily arma 3 on 60+ fps which is now running 20 and I'd recently updated my graphics card to up the frame rate which it did but I don't know why the frames would just decrease when I haven't even done anything to the computer, I used to get good frames on every game I played on my PC and now they've just decreased dramatically which for a PC like this and the fps I used to get it shouldn't just do that.. I have scanned my pc for viruses and got rid of them and used defrag and even ccleaned my pc and it still doesn't seem to help up my frames, please help

I have an i7 4770K intel processor
GTX nvidia 760 graphics card
16gb ram

Hey there, it all depends if you're playing multiplayer or just singleplayer. As you probably know Arma 3 is a whore on the CPU. but your CPU should be able to handle it. If you are on multiplayer try the game on a singleplayer map and see how your FPS is. If no improvement then try turning settings down. Maybe pull down draw distance and turn down graphics to medium. If you are getting bad fps for all games, it might be your hardware, Maybe borrow a GPU and try it and see if anything improves

Yeah I've been playing both single and multiplayer on Arma III and reducing the video graphics doesn't help at all and I can't borrow a GPU because I don't have anybody who could lend me one to test out
