I'm in the market for a new GPU And I have some questions about these two different companies I can't choose between the EVGA OR MSI. I also heard the 970 has problems with the ACX 2.0 cooling system and did they fix it? Also does the EVGA 970 stop spinning or spin at a slower rate when not underload? Also how good is Twin Frozr cooling system.

MSI GPU : MSI GeForce GTX 970 TwinFrozr V

EVGA GPU : EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW GAMING ACX 2.0

Solution
''has problems with the ACX 2.0 cooling system and did they fix it''

yes look for the acx2.0''+''

''Also does the EVGA 970 stop spinning or spin at a slower rate when not underload? Also how good is Twin Frozr cooling system.''

that's pretty much common on all these newer cards you can use something like MSi afterburner to set your own personal fan profiles [curves]

'' Also how good is Twin Frozr cooling system.''

ask this guy on how well his is working out ??

to me where evga shines is there service and support after the sale and the store you got it from rma time expires [30days]

I would if me and can afford to is just go with a 980 its a true NVidia card the 970 [any brand ] is not
