I want to get a gaming computer soon and I want to know if this is a good build or not.
Any advice/criticism would be appreciated.

Here is the link- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Q7Mkxr

It seems a bit cheap and I do not know a whole lot about the parts of a PC yet.

Games I want to run would include Skyrim, CS: GO, and other various games on steam.

You're fine on csgo, and skyrim will be okay for you. Maybe the CPU certainly cannot handle something extremely modded on high or ultra settings 60fps. But will play around 30 which is playable. It is not all that graphics intensive and the 370 will run fine . It certainly isn't the most performing PC, but it will do for that price

I have been in your exact position and I would say for that price buy an Alienware alpha from Amazon they are great priced and awesome for gaming that is what they designed them to do and plus since it's a computer console you can take it somewhere like you would with an Xbox (if you need to) this is really my opinion but I strongly support it.
