Neog2 :
1. What mouse?
2. When did you start experiencing this problem? Seems you had a previous operating system and had the problem updated to 10 and still have the problem.
3. I'm assuming you have tried different USB ports?
4. Does your mouse have software that you install with it, if so have you tried not using the software and just letting windows use the default driver it finds? And Vice versa.
5. You have three of the same mice so you assume its not the mouse, and honestly could very well JUST BE THE MOUSE. You may have outgrown that level of mouse, Whats the DPI setting when your playing the game.
6. Is it just one game, or all games, and give some example of games.
I've played with so many mice through the years and mice software is either great or garbage.
I had this one mouse that for whatever reason when ever i would go to start a FPS the damn DPI would drop to the lowest setting on the Splash screen, found out later the damn mouse software was doing some wonky stuff.
7. And If it isn't a motherboard issue and these mice previously felt great, then its more than likely a driver issue. But Different than what you think. TRY DOWNGRADING the driver or software. If the company keeps the old files on hand to download go back to a time you know for sure the mouse/mice felt great to you. Rule of thumb for me if its not broke don't fix it. Driver and software updates when it comes to competitive gaming devices is a tricky matter. Always read the changelog. If they arent specifically fixing something you had a problem with, or adding a feature you deem necessary don't do the update.
8. It could just be a bad motherboard it happens.
Thanks for answering.
1. Mionix castor, Zowie ec1a, and logitech g500s.
2. Yes exactly I figured updating OS may solve a random window software issue as there sometimes is, nothing happened.
3. I have tried all of them, at one point unplugging and then plugging back in seemed to have worked for a couple of minutes then in seemed to jitter, be laggy and delayed etc again.
4. I have tried the software reinstalled and unstalled altogether for each respective mouse, its woth noting the castor and ec1a don't even need software to function as they are tailored towards professional gaming use.
5. I have stated the mice I use, which are about as good as they get as far as sensors, at least two of them anyways. I play on 800 dpi, Ive tried lowering dpi and upping ingame sens and vice versa
6 All games, some iffier than others. Battefield 4 and counterstrike and kinda wonky and black ops 3 is just terrible, but that games engine is crap anyways so to be expected. It just always feels like micro-movements I make dont register and the mouse has a mind of its own. The movement of the mouse isnt HUGE it just constantly is fighting what im doing not allowing me to be very accurate at all.
7. Ill give the driver solution another go, thanks for trying!
If not ill just rma and hope it is actually the motherboard thats the issue instead of a software problem otherwise itll be a colossal waste of time.
