Are these 2 components compatible?

Hi, I have this motherboard : http://www.amazon.com/ASRock-DDR3-Motherboards-FATAL1TY-KILLER/dp/B00KFLV594/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

I am ordering this ram:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Computers-Corsair-Vengeance-Performance-Desktop-Memory/dp/B00S51XM5Q?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_4&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

The reason i ask is that the motherboard specifically says it supports ddr3, and the ram is ddr4?

Any insight would be a great help.

You are right, they will not work.

On Intel CPUs, you need a Socket 1151 or Socket 2011 v3 motherboard for DDR4 support. Even then, some of them are DDR3 motherboards.

Of course, your CPU needs to be of the correct socket to plug it in to the motherboard as well.
