Hey guys!
Does AsRock still have the "non-k" overclock functionality with 1150skt motherboards? Because I have an AsRock z77 pro3 with an I5 2400 overclocked to 4.1ghz.
Im planning to get an AsRock z97m anniversary and an I5 4460 and I would like to overclock it!
Btw what do you guys think about that too?

Solution
Not possible with Haswell. Possible with some BIOS versions of some Skylake Z170 motherboards (ASRock Z170M Extreme4, Asrock Z170 Pro4 - Extra research needed).

It's officially 100% possible with the ASRock B150 Gaming/Hyper K4.

RCFProd thanks for your help!
I really like the idea of having a new CPU from the new chipset but if I acquire that CPU and that Motherboard I would need to buy new ddr4 memories, right?

Yeah that goes over my upgrade budget...
I might save a little bit more so I can buy that Motherboard (AsRock z97-m Anniversary) and an I5 4690k.
Can you give me your opinion?
Thank you!

I don't know, I think the Anniversary, especially the microATX version, is lacking features.

Atleast get this one:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($86.88 @ OutletPC)
Total: $86.88

The Z97M anniversary, compared to the DS3H, lacks:
M.2 slot
SATA3 6.0 GB/ps port
Worse audio, ALC667 5.1 compared to ALC887 7.1 on the DS3H.
