What PS3 version to get that will run PS2 game disks?

I don't think all of them do, which one will? Will all PS3 versions run the PlayStation Network where it seems you can get PS2 games.

Mostly looking to run the Ratchet and Clank games I have for the PS2, don't want to re-buy things again for a PS3.

The only PS3 that can play PS2 disks is the original fat on WITH 4 USB PORTS. Slim and Super Slim cannot play PS2 disks
Every PS3 can connect to PSN (assuming its not jailbroken and has latest software update)
RULE OF THUMB, 4 USB PORTS = PS2 DISKS WILL WORK, 2 USB PORTS = YOU CANT PLAY PS2 DISKS

The only ones that did it as i recall were the original 20 and 60 gig fat versions. All others removed ps2 hardware that allows the ps3 to play ps2 games. All models plays ps1 cd though.

i forgot how ALL PS3 models play PS1 disks :/

Thanks, wife saw the preview for the Ratchet and Clank movie and asked if we can get a PS again to play those games. Have a handful of them from when we had a PS2.
