Hello, I am soon upgrading my A8-6600K to a 6 Core FX6300 Black Edition. I noticed that my current Motherboard doesn't have the right socket to run the 6 FX6300 so I'm pricing up motherboards that have the right socket. So far I've found this Gigabyte Motherboard http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-970A-DS3P-Motherboard-Socket-Express/dp/B00CX4MUCC/ref=pd_bxgy_147_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0ZCJHK1A53FBDGX7R1DJ which has mostly positive reviews. (There are others that I've used to build my friend's PC with but I feel this one would be better suited to my needs.
Basically what I would like to know is if this motherboard works well with the CPU in mind and if there are any better ones on the market around that price if not cheaper.
Also would I run into any issues with the specs I would like to use?

Specs I will be using with it:
MSI R9 380 GPU
16GB HyperX RAM (I plan to upgrade to 32GB)
1TB Hard Drive
6 Core FX6300 Black Edition CPU
Corsair CX750M Power supply

Thanks for your time!

With a R9-380, I presume you are looking for better gaming performance.
If so, be prepared for a disappointment with a FX-6300.
Your A8-6600K has a passmark rating of 4594 and a single thread rating of 1470.
Few games can use more than 2-3 threads. The single thread rating is most important for most games.
The FX-6300 has a passmark rating of 6344, a nice boost if you can actually use all 6 threads. Unfortunately, the single thread rating of 1408 is a slight step backward.

Since you need to change motherboards regardless, buy a intel lga1151 motherboard and a intel processor of some sort.

A Intel i3-6100 is a very good midrange processor with a high single thread rating. 5500 total, and 2102 single thread.
The processor will be...

The processor will be particularly good on games such as mmo, strategy and sims which typically depend on the performance of a single master thread.

If your main games are multiplayer, then a true quad i5 will be a better option.

Skylake is the latest generation, and I would pick that over haswell,

On ram, most games are coded for 32 bit so 8gb is more than enough.
I do like a 2 x 8gb ram kit though.
Windows will keep more code around in anticipation of reuse.
Skylake does not depend on ram speed if you are using a dedicated graphics card.
Buy the cheapest kit of ddr4 in the capacity you need.
Here is a report on skylake ram scaling:

FWIW.
I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
120gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games. If you can go 240gb, you may never need a hard drive.

I would defer on the hard drive unless you need to store large files such as video's.
It is easy to add a hard drive later.
Samsung EVO is a good choice.

Thanks for the advice but I am on a limited budget at the moment. Which Intel I-5 CPUS would work with this motherboard and be in the same price range?
