So I just replaced my old amd 6 core cpu with a brand new amd 8350 8 core. What is currently in my rig is a m5a99x Evo Mb with 12 gigs of ram. A nvidia gtx 590 graphics card. Corsair rm 1000w power supply, 500gig had and a 1 tb hard drive. I am having an issue where I turn on my rig and I get nothing in my monitors, no computer beeps and the hd light turns on for a second then turns off and everything just sits idle. Would I need to upgrade my MB or have an Expert look at my rig and see what could be the issue? Also I put the computer together myself and have done so for years so my knowledge is pretty spot on. I know my MB is out of date but it was working just fine until my old 6 core over heated and upon removing it to redo the thermal paste and cord management I found one of the pins was missing. And no it's not in the MB still. I checked. Should I replace my old MB with the M5A99FX pro 2.0 or just throw my money at computer repair or geek squad.

I don't remember what my MB bios version is. But I constantly keep everything updated. I even took out the battery on the MB to refresh it. I can try and put my old cpu in even though it has a broken pin buy idk if it will boot to the bios.
