Recently, task manager has shown that something called "System and compressed memory" is taking up around 20% CPU and memory usage. This is extremely annoying and it is like this whether I'm browsing the web, idling, or whatever. I don't need my CPU sitting at 20% usage when I'm literally doing nothing on the computer. Is there a way to fix this, or is this normal in Windows 10 systems to happen for a few days on end? This is the third day I've noticed it.

Sapphire R9 390
Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H Motherboard
16GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 RAM
XFX Pro 750W Core Edition PSU
I built this system back in mid-January. I did a clean install of Windows 10 onto a brand new SSD. This isn't taking up any disk space, though, just CPU and memory. I've browsed loads of forums and haven't really found a way to stop it from happening. The "End task" button is blanked out and I can't click it.
