I just bought additional ram for my PC, yet I have realised after I bought it that voltage is different. Will this be a problem?
One is 1.5v another one is 1.35v

One is GeIL Black Dragon DDR3 1600mhz 1.5v, the other one is Crucial Ballistic Sport DDR3 1600mhz 1.35v?

Solution

It depends on your system. If it supports 1.5v memory, then it will support both voltage 1.35 and 1.5.
but if it supports 1.35 only, then 1.5v will not work.

Also when two different voltages RAM is mixed, the whole memory system will work at the higher voltage.

No problem because 1.35v ram can work at 1.5v

Newer laptops only accept 1.35v ram but it is backward compatible.

What is the brand and model of the motherboard? Which CPU model are you using?
