Hi guys! First time user long time lurker.

Can you give me a clue as to what I should do.
I was adding some new paste to the CPU, as I've put the cooler back on the capacitor cap has come clean off, it's left behind the legs and the PC is running as normal, of course I've got the ah heck set to eco mode just to use less power right now.

I've contacted the tech guys at the location I've bought it, they've advised that I can continue to use it if it's working but when I can send it in at anytime if I want MSi to repair or replace.

I'd usually send it in, but I have a ton of Uni work to hand in by the end of May and I hear RMA can take 28 working days, even on a solder job.

I suppose as long as you don't OC the processor, you will be fine fine using the PC normally with one less cap. But if those "legs" are still connected to the M/B, you want to be darn sure they don't touch anything. That could shut down the PC at best and cause damage at worse.
