Hello! This is my current PC:
Core i5-4460 /
Powercolor R9 290 TurboDuo /
ASROCK B85 PRO4 /
2x4GB A-DATA 1600MHz /
1000GB Seagate SATA 3 7200 64M /
Fortron Rider S 750 / CM Elite 334U

I want to buy an SSD but I have no idea which one to choose. I dont play many games or run heavy programs, so in my opinion 128GB will be enough.
Could you please tell me which one has the best price/quality ratio.

Thank you in advance :) .

Solution

Samsung 850 EVO(or even the newer 750 EVO if you are on the cheap)
You can get by with 128, but with no games on it. I would suggest going for 256 and thank yourself later :)

850 Evo is the default answer, good combination of price/performance/reputation.
Another good choice is the Crucial MX200 but only if there's enough price difference to matter to you. If the price is close get the Samsung. I've used both brands a few times and have been pleased with the results.

In any case any reasonable SSD will be a massive improvement over what you have and the differences between different SSD's tiny by comparison. Toms do have a best SSD for the money article, perhaps you should read that :)

I have 2 x 500GB Samsung Evo 850s (US$150 + shipping on Amazon) as my boot and backup drives.
I have 2 x Kingspec 6Gb/s 500GB SSDs (US$145ea incl. shipping on Aliexpress) as application and data drives, and
I have 2 x kingspec 240GB 6Gbps SSDs (US$56ea incl shipping on Aliexpress) in my NAS.

I am very happy with both the Evos and the Kingspecs. Through testing, I have found the Kingspec's performance almost as good as the Evos and a very good deal for the price. By way of example, I can copy 250MB files from my NAS (the 240GB Kingspecs) over gigabit ethernet in about 3 seconds. A 140GB copy of files to the NAS completed over the network at an average of 300MB/s and peaked at 415MB/s (from cache I think), so the sustained write speed was pretty good.

The Evos are excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending them. However, if you want to save a few $ and don't mind the slightly reduced performance, or if you want a smaller capacity, I highly recommend the Kingspecs.
