Hello guys. Sorry for bad english!
Recently my motherboard (Asus Z97-A) was showing some issues that I couldn't fix.
So I was thinking of buying a new one to replace it.
Since I don't have much knowledge in this matter, I'm looking for some advices.
I was doing some research and found this Asus Z170-E, and I've liked it. But I didn't find much information about it on the google, like reviews and vídeos. Tried to look for it on motherboard tier list here on fórum but no success.
So, I have some questions:
1) Is it a downgrade if I replace my Z97-A for the Z170-E?
2) Is there a better choice over Z170-E? (Close to it's price range)
3) Is this motherboard good for my personal needs?
4) Is Z170-Deluxe overkill for me?
I'm not a super hardcore gamer, I look forward for a stable 60 FPS on most games.
My current build is:
Intel I5 4690K
Gigabyte 980TI G1 Gaming
Perhaps I will upgrade it to a 2 way SLI for 4k action, but nothing more than that in terms of graphics.
And of course upgrade my CPU in the future when the current one gets old.
So, I just need a motherboard that could handle a 2 way SLI at most, and next gen CPU's.
Thanks in advance!
