Need help with my build please!

Solution
I would get the i7 5820k + X99 + 4x4GB RAM instead for about the same price. A better cpu cooler too.

What about the psu? It's the most important part.

well it depends on what ur doing....
gaming multi tasking the 6700k is okay but gaming editing 5820k would be better....
And 650w psu is enough but if ur gonna sli (which u wouldnt i guess) get a 850W..
Pls keep in mind dnt cheap out the psu..

I'd switch out the Hyper 212 for a better cooler. Sure the hyper 212 is good, but you're putting a lot of money into this build already clearly. So if I were you I'd spring for something a little bit better, check out Noctuia and Cryorig.

As for PSU, I'd get either an EVGA Supernova G2 750 or 850w. (both have a decent overhead for expansion) or something by bequiet!

Yeah it's mostly for gaming, and the monitor rn is 1080p but most likely going to upgrade in the future. Thanks for the help with the power supply!

The cryorig H7 is a better cooler, for not much more money. It appears you are going for a particular color scheme as well, which it would match up better with. Case is more of a personal taste, so I will leave that one alone.

Now for PSU, do you ever intend to SLI that graphics card? If so, a 1000w PSU may not be a bad idea. 850w would be cutting it a bit close, with overclocking. If not shooting for high clocks, you may be ok with an 850w. For single card, a 650w would be enough. These would work, and not horribly throw off your color scheme.

The i7 6700k is a terrible buy IMO. The 6 core i7 5820k is basically the same price.

Ok thanks! I have heard to much of a power supply can be bad for performance, was wondering how true that is? Cause I'm not going no for sli anytime soon, so was thinking maybe the 850w? But idk if that is to much or not

what makes the 5820k a better buy?

The build would be above fine for gaming at 1080P 1440P and even 4K with some setting turned down @ 4K
and streaming. The X99 would also do the job just do your home work and pick the one you like.

I don't like the case but that's just me :) rest looks good

Also like others said if you don't add a 2nd GPU for sli a good 650W PSU is fine
