I need the cheapest fm2 amd cpu that won't bottleneck a 780 ti

Solution
For one, don't spend 300 on a used 780 ti
You can get a brand new 970 for the same price, or even less counting the free game that it comes with

And sadly everything will bottleneck

on newegg alone I see 970s for $290-$315 and they comes with The Divisions game, fresh warranty, and are brand new!

But still with that CPU a 970 will bottleneck so, you'd have to get new motherboad/CPU to use the 970

Sorry dude, but as of now, all the AMD APUs will definitely bottleneck your GPU, except FX 8350 (Its not an APU but a Pure 8 Core Processor which comes under AMD's FX series and all the APUs come under A series) that too when overclocked @ 4.5 GHz.

Also, why would you get such an old card for that Price, you can get an R9 390 for that price which does very well for its price also, I would have suggested "NVidia’s GTX 970" but didn't because, NVidia’s GTX 970 has an issue where the GPU can't address its total 4-GB of VRAM without reducing it's bandwidth from 224-GB/s to 196-GB/s which in turn might give you a big performance drop.
So, why did I even say you this about NVidia’s GTX 970? Well, for you to be careful.

Hope this helps you, fell free to ask any questions...

Please do research on the gtx 970s vram before posting false information. It can access its full 4gb, 0.5 gb is just at a slow speed so its used to do things like prepare textures.
The card was created for 1080p, and it performs amazing at 1080p, above 1080, yes 8gb of vram is much better

Ah, USD. I had seen benchmarks for the 780ti vs the 980, and it stacked up very nicely. If not better.

You will have an expensive card that will idle at 30-40% in games with the CPU you plan. You pay for something that you can't use.
Just get a GTX 960, more balanced for your system and monitor. And it's less than 2/3 of the price.
