Built this PC a few weeks ago, but all of a sudden a loud crackling noise has appeared whenever I start up the PC, or install a game and continues all the time while running. I have isolated the sound to the power supply. The strange thing is that whenever the PC makes the sound, the light in the power button which usually goes blue, flashes little orange dots. Desperate for help.
EDIT: I have tried using different SATA ports and cleaning filters

Your wattage is fine, if your going to be stressing a PSU with a wattage hungry game GPU you NEED a PSU that is made from well made parts so the PSU stays stable while under load.

A cheaply made PSU is not recommended to be used in a gaming pc whatsoever. My GPU was so demanding it practically nearly killed my old CX so I bought a proper tier 1 PSU:

You can't cheap out on the PSU, it is what powers the whole build.

Next time do more research.

I see what you mean, but it doesn't really describe the problem I'm having. What if I replace it and the problem is the same? With my GPU, shall I get a higher Wattage?
