So I installed a new GPU this morning and now when I play games like GTA and Cities:Skylines I have had a "Your computer is low on memory" crash and asks me to close my game.

I never had this problem before and only started happening when I installed this new GPU. At first I thought this was just a problem with GTA but now after trying other games, it happens there too.

Specs:

CPU: i5-4460 @ 3.2ghz
Mobo: Asus H81m-Plus
RAM: Patriot 8GB DDR3 (1x8gb) 1600mhz
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 750 ti (FTW edition)
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD
HDD: Seagate 1TB Hard Drive
PSU: Corsair CX600 (600 watts)
OS: Windows 10 64 bit

Solution
Well.. look at it logically.. you playing popular games.. with popular GPU and drivers that must be on millions of PC's..
And you seem to have a memory leak.. so you must ask yourself ... "why me?.. whats different about my PC to the millions of others out there.. that don't seem to have the problem" (or the inet would be going crazy about it).
Its not a specific game.. so its something in your core setup..
So may be you have a corrupt OS install? or old Mobo drivers or something..
Or you have a niche app/program/addon that is getting in the way and breaking your games.
Or malware (you scanned with Malwarebytes?) ..
But you say it only happened since new GPU.. so may be experiment and put old GPU back and see if problem goes away...

I installed the drivers as soon as I installed the GPU, and also ran DDU before in uninstalled my old gpu.

I am currently using the latest drivers directly from the nvidia website, 364.72.

Hello, so I just fixed this problem, it happened to be the problem with the actual games themselves. The fact that this started hapenning after installing a new GPU made me think that it would be the graphics card drivers and was about to look in to that but after searching around on some other threads somebody suggested reinstalling games on steam, and this problem would be fixed. And yes, it did work, as far as I know. Cities:Skylines now works as this is the only game I've had time to try.

Thanks for the answers!

Ok, so it turns out I haven't fixed this problem, the game I reinstalled has started crashing again.

Have any ideas on what the problem could be?

So sorry cant be more specific.. you just need be logical and think about what you did.. changes you have made since you started to see the issue.. and backtrack to try and isolate the issue.
Good luck.
Cheers

So I just formatted both drives and went back to windows 7, going to reinstall all my drivers and then give it a try, and see if the problem is resolved.

Will post back when I have tested to see if the issue is solved.
